Volunteer Opportunities
Become an Approved Volunteer (RAPTOR)
If you would like to volunteer on campus, NMUSD requires all volunteers to complete a screening through the RAPTOR Volunteer System. This helps the district ensure the safety of all students and staff.
Once approved, you will be able to volunteer at school during the day. This includes helping in your child’s classroom, chaperoning field trips, and assisting with school activities or events.
To get started, complete the online volunteer application using the link below. Once your application is reviewed, you will receive an email letting you know if you have been cleared to volunteer.
Before applying, please make sure you have any required documents ready to upload. It is also recommended that you complete the application on a computer, as mobile devices can sometimes cause formatting issues.

The truth is, the best way to get involved is simply to talk to a PTA member, join our volunteer chat on What'sApp, and start showing up when you can. Every event at school takes a lot of behind-the-scenes work, and even small things help. Whether it’s helping organize spirit wear for Eagle Rally on the 1st Friday of every month, or lending a hand at an event, every bit of support makes a difference.
